Join the band:

New members are accepted on an ongoing basis subject to instrumental balance. Membership in the Atlanta Concert Band is open to any competent woodwind, brass, and percussion players - no auditions are required. The Atlanta Concert Band is an adult (18 & over) band, but a limited number of high school players are accepted to participate in our Mentor Program. Please contact us for more information.

Rehearsals are generally held every Sunday from 7:30-9:30pm in the McDonough Building at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (see map below). On occasion, we will skip a Sunday rehearsal due to holiday or concert - the next several Sunday rehearsal dates are listed below:

**When preparing for a concert, we sometimes close the final rehearsal(s) prior to the concert for the sake of consistent concert instrumentation and preparation. If a rehearsal above is marked "closed", please contact us prior to attending, or feel free to attend the next open rehearsal.

Driving directions (using I-75):
From the south (downtown):
  • I-75 north to exit 256 (Mt. Paran Rd.)
  • RIGHT (east) on Mt. Paran - 2 miles to church (at intersection of Mt. Paran & Northside Dr.)
From the north:
  • I-75 south to exit 258 (Cumberland Blvd.)
  • RIGHT on Cumberland Blvd. - go less than 1/2 mile to Cobb Pkwy.
  • LEFT (south) on Cobb Pkwy (Hwy 41) - go approx. 1.5 miles to Mt. Paran Rd. (note: Cobb Pkwy. becomes Northside Pkwy.)
  • LEFT (east) on Mt. Paran Rd. (the intersection is just before you go under I-75 bridge)
  • Approx. 2 miles to church (at intersection of Mt. Paran & Northside Dr.)
NOTE: If you are coming from the north, be aware that if you take the Mt. Paran exit from southbound I-75 you cannot turn east on Mt. Paran.
